Apartments Near Parkview Field in Demand
For Cityscape Flats, across from Parkview Field, there are 200 names on a waiting list for 163 apartments and two of 14 townhomes have been sold even though construction hasn't even begun yet, proving the wisdom of changing them on the fly from rentals to owner-occupied units and expanding eight of them to accommodate rooftop patios. -

ChocolateFest at Parkview Field
Fort Wayne ChocolateFest 2017 will be 6-9 p.m. Feb. 10 at Parkview Field Event Center, 1301 Ewing St. Attendees will be treated to three chocolate fountains, chocolate desserts and hors d’oeuvres. Chocolate popcorn tasting and chocolate beer tasting are included. A live band will play music, a cash bar will serve drinks and a variety of items will be available for purchase in a silent auction. Proceeds will go to Riley Hospital for Children and to other local youth charities and projects. -

The Fort Wayne TinCaps, the Class A (Midwest League) affiliate of the San Diego Padres, are the recipients of Minor League Baseball's 2016 John H. Johnson President's Award. This is Minor League Baseball's top honor for organizational excellence, awarded each year to just one out of the 160 teams across all levels (Rookie Leagues to Triple-A). -
